Competition Guidelines

Stay Focused holds twelve competitions during the year, the Spring Challenge and Fall Shootout which are professionally judged and designed to encourage personal growth. In addition Stay Focused has ten Monthly Competitions where members of the club vote to determine the winners. Competitions are open only to SFPC members in good standing.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Submitted photos must be original, created and/or taken by the contestant. Photos that violate or infringe upon another person's rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible.

The Stay Focused Photo Board of Directors reserves the right to assess and disregard any submitted photo at its discretion.

Upload Instructions for Contest Photo Submission

The longest dimension of your submission should be 1400 pixels (or less) in .jpg format. We recommend a color profile of sRGB. Resolution doesn't matter. Popular photo editors like Photoshop, Lightroom, Photoshop Elements and many others will accomplish these tasks, or Google "photo resizing" for more information than you'll probably want. If you have any questions contact us for help.

When your photos are ready, go to the Photo Contest Pro website and follow instructions.

Please do not:

Put your name or quote marks in the title of your image, enter your image title in all caps or add a watermark to your image.

First time users will have to log in by entering the email address you used to join SFPC. Select Stay Focused Photo Club as your organization and then "logging in for the first time." A password will be emailed to you to proceed.

Spring Challenge and Fall Shootout Competitions

• All images must meet the selected subject requirements as determined by the chairperson of the competition.
