2023 Fall Shootout Winners!

Still Life - A photograph of an inanimate object or group of objects arranged as the subject for a picture. It can show composition, color harmony, form, texture, and the effects of light upon the objects.

Glass - A photograph where the primary subject is made of glass. Reflections another possibility, or shooting through glass? Another interesting property of glass is refraction of light viewed through glass. You might even try photographs of shattering or broken glass (please be careful)!

Out of the Camera (open) - Remember those rules from the past to get in right in the camera. So, now we are asking for one photo directly from the camera, no cropping or editing of any kind, “Let It Be” (thanks Paul)! There are no limitations on subject matter except that it should not be offensive to the average adult audience.

Nature - A photo depicting one or more elements of the natural world. Examples could be birds, animals, insects, plants, sea, weather. This is an opportunity to show elements like patterns, texture, form, or motion to tell a story.
